Massachusetts bans cathode-ray tubes (CRTs) from disposal, and electronics belong at a certified e-waste recycler, not the curb — the old CRT and projection sets contain leaded glass that has to be handled properly. We carry it down the triple-decker stairs and route it (plus any monitors and computers) to e-waste recycling. The heavy old sets nobody else will lift are the same flat price.
You can't set a TV at the curb here, and a big set is awkward on a triple-decker staircase. We bring the dismount tools and the people to get it down three no-elevator floors in Dorchester or Allston, or out a reserved freight elevator with a Certificate of Insurance on file in a Seaport tower. A top-floor unit costs the same as the ground floor.
