Junk Removal in Back Bay
Junk Removal in Back Bay
Comm Ave brownstones with steep Victorian stairs and no off-street parking on one side; the Prudential and Copley towers with COIs and freight elevators on the other. We run both playbooks — stoop-and-stair carries or full high-rise protocol — at one flat, photo-quoted price.
Two Back Bays, one flat price
On the residential blocks — Commonwealth, Marlborough, Beacon, and the Newbury St upper floors — Back Bay is wall-to-wall Victorian brownstone walk-ups: gorgeous, landmarked, and built with narrow, winding staircases and zero off-street parking. Getting a sleeper sofa or a box spring down four flights and out to a truck staged a block away is the whole job, and we price it flat — no "walk-up fee," no per-flight charge, and real care taken with the original newel posts and plaster.
A block over, the Prudential and Copley high-rises (and the newer towers near the Pike) run like any luxury building: a Certificate of Insurance on file with management, a reserved freight elevator, and a loading-dock window. We handle that paperwork the same day. One quote covers whichever Back Bay you're in.
What we move out of Back Bay
- Brownstone walk-up carries — sofas, mattresses, and dressers down narrow Victorian stairs on Comm Ave and Marlborough.
- Garden-level & basement clear-outs — the below-grade units and storage cages that come with these buildings.
- High-rise condo turnover — Pru/Copley-area towers, COI on file and freight elevator booked before we arrive.
- Newbury St office & studio decommissions — desks, shelving, and fixtures when a suite changes hands.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you handle Back Bay brownstone walk-ups with no elevator?
Yes — the steep, narrow Victorian staircases on Comm Ave, Newbury, and Marlborough are routine for us. We carry down from any floor at a flat price with no per-flight surcharge, and we're careful with the original woodwork and banisters.
Can you do a pickup in a Prudential or Copley high-rise?
Yes. The Pru, Copley, and the newer Back Bay towers want a Certificate of Insurance naming the building and a reserved freight-elevator window. We provide the COI and book the elevator with the management office.
There's no parking on Marlborough St — how does that work?
Back Bay has no off-street parking, so we stage the truck in the nearest legal spot and carry. If a job needs the truck curbside on a permit-parking block, we can arrange a Boston street-occupancy permit. The flat quote covers the carry either way.
